Why do our questionnaires change every year?
We update our questionnaires each year for two main reasons:
-
Staying relevant: The world of work is evolving rapidly, with new realities (e.g., remote work, artificial intelligence, etc.). We adapt our questions so your surveys reflect these changes and help you better understand your company’s current challenges.
-
Keeping surveys short: To ensure good participation from your teams, we prioritize concise questionnaires. Instead of continuously adding questions, we remove some to make room for new, more relevant ones.
How do we decide to remove a question?
After each campaign, we analyze the responses. If a question consistently receives excellent scores, it means it no longer represents an area for improvement for most companies. We then remove it to make space for a more targeted question that can help you identify new challenges.
How does the platform manage the question history?
The platform keeps the history of each questionnaire template.
-
In the "Analyze" tab: When you select a year, the questions displayed correspond exactly to the template of that year. For example, if you choose "2023," you will see the questionnaire as it existed in 2023.
-
In the "Historical Benchmark" tab: Comparisons are based on the template of the selected year (in "Period").
Analysis Reports: Two data points explained
Your analysis report includes two types of N-1 data:
Data point 1:
"The results of year N-1 are calculated based on the questions included in the current campaign’s questionnaire."
This figure is an average calculated from year N-1 results, but only considering the questions that are also present in the current year’s questionnaire (year N). This allows for a direct comparison on questions that have not changed year over year.
Data point 2:
"The totals of year N-1 are based on the template as it existed in year N-1."
This figure is an average of the favorable opinion rates obtained the previous year using the questionnaire from year N-1. It provides an overview of the results for that period.
